Silo Espresso began in June 2014, but our story goes back much further. The journey started in 2000 when the older of our two brother-owners arrived in Australia for the Sydney Olympics. It was here that a passion for coffee and hospitality was ignited. In 2004, he was joined by his younger brother, and together, they’ve been working in the industry ever since. Their first café opened in 2008, and from there, the journey has been one of continuous growth and innovation.
At Silo Espresso, we’re proud of our diverse and dynamic team. While many of our staff hail from Brazil, bringing with them the warmth and flavours of South America, we also have young Australians who have grown with us, contributing to the vibrant atmosphere that defines our cafés. We believe in giving back to the community by providing opportunities for growth and development, and we’re proud to have a team that reflects the multicultural fabric of Manly.
